Volcanoes National Park

Volcanoes National Park is a national park in northwestern Rwanda. It covers 160 km² of rainforest and encompasses five of the eight volcanoes in the Virunga Mountains, namely Karisimbi, Bisoke, Muhabura, Gahinga and Sabyinyo. This park nests the mountain gorillas and golden monkeys which are quite popular.

Trip details

Day 1 [Arrival to Rwanda]

13:00 – Arrival at the airport with Meet & Greet assistance. A warm welcome by your driver guide at the check-out point. Head to your Kigali hotel with your private vehicle.

14:00 – Swift Check-in at your Kigali hotel. Your driver guide will brief you about your trip more exquisitely.

Enjoy lunch and relax a bit from your hotel.

19:00 – A delicious dinner from a decent restaurant will be on your schedule. Whether you prefer to dine from your hotel or outside, you will agree on this with your guide (Company representative)

Overnight at your Kigali hotel.

Day 2 [Transfer to Kinigi]

 08:00 – Breakfast, and check out from your hotel.

09:00 – Visit the Genocide memorial.

11:00 – Drive to the Northern province of Rwanda.

14:00 – Lunch at Ellen DeGeneres campus followed by a tour.

16:30 – Check-in and overnight at your Kinigi hotel.

Day 3 [Adventure day]

 08:00 – Drive to the twin lakes for the lakeshores walk.

12:00 – Local lunch at Ruhondo resort.

14:00 – Twin Lakes canoeing experience.

18:00 – Arrival to your Kinigi hotel, and overnight.

Day 4 [Gorilla Tracking]

 06:00 – Breakfast at the hotel.

07:00 – Start the briefing for the gorilla trekking. Proceed with the activity.

13:00 – Drive to your hotel to freshen up and lunch.

15:00 – Transfer to Kigali for your departure flight.
