4 Days Kigali & Akagera Trip

Akagera National Park lies in eastern Rwanda, hugging the border with Tanzania. It’s characterized by woodland, swamps, low mountains and savannah. The varied terrain shelters wildlife including zebras, giraffes, elephants, lions and hundreds of bird species, such as the rare shoebill stork. In the southern part of the park, vast Lake Ihema is home to hippos and crocodiles.

Day 1:

08:30 – Check-out from the hotel and meet with your driver guide.

09:00 – Kigali Genocide Memorial visit.

11:30 – Enjoy the groceries shopping from a local market before you head to the residence of our partner for an insightful cooking class.

15:00 – Share a well-deserved local lunch.

17:00 – Take off for galleries tour combined with some shopping and the city discovery.

19:00 – Sit in a nice restaurant for a traditional live music evening or karaoke. End the day with bright smiles!

17:30 – Akagera Night Game Drive.

Day 4:

07:15 – Check-out from the hotel.

07:30 – Start your full day game drive.

08:30 – Enjoy a morning boat ride.

10:00 – Proceed with your game drive.

15:00 – Depart to Kigali.
